Stakeholders meet to fight TB

ree

Early September, 2024, the Afrocab Treatment Access Partnership (AFROCAB), with representation across 12 countries in the African region, partnered with the SMART4TB (Supporting, Mobilizing, and Accelerating Research for Tuberculosis Elimination) Project and hosted an in-person meeting in Nairobi.

The meeting aimed to share lessons learned from the first two years of AFROCAB's engagement with the SMART4TB Project and to establish best practices and skills to support ongoing community engagement in research and advocacy activities in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The SMART4TB Project partnered with AFROCAB to strengthen TB research and advocacy. AFROCAB played a key role in the SMART4TB project by coordinating community engagement in the African region and helping to shape the research agenda.

The project was funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
