THRIVE Community Advisory Board
(
CAB) Members

The THRIVE Community Advisory Board (CAB) was formed to cultivate meaningful and representative engagement within communities, ensuring that the voices of those directly impacted by AHD (Advanced HIV Disease) are prioritised in decision-making processes. The CAB brings together members from national PLHIV networks, community health advocates, and youth representatives, reflecting the diverse perspectives of all stakeholders.

The primary goal of the CAB is to enrich program design with real-life experiences, thereby enhancing accountability and creating culturally relevant information, education, and communication (IEC) materials. This involves advocating in national forums and conducting facility-based interventions and strategies that resonate with the community.
