The management of AFROCAB is proud to present the distinguished new board members.
A multi-sector team bringing deep expertise in advocacy, community health governance, pharma systems, finance, and resource mobilization. Together, they’re strengthening community treatment access across Africa.
Ms. Diedre Madise – Malawi

Diedre is a community advocate and leader openly living with HIV for over 25 years. She is a member of the Coalition of Women Living with HIV in Malawi and currently serves as a Commissioner for the National AIDS Commission in Malawi. She has extensive experience representing children and people living with HIV in national and international platforms, including the PEPFAR Country Operating Plan process and the Ministry of Health Technical Working Group on Treatment, Paediatrics, and Children with HIV. Diedre is deeply committed to advancing community leadership, treatment advocacy, and the rights of people living with HIV across Africa.
Ms. Jane Mukami Muthua – Kenya

Jane Mukami Muthua is a development and public health professional with extensive experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation, research, and strategic programming in HIV, SRHR, gender equality, human rights, and community health systems in Kenya. She has worked with government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, and communities to strengthen health promotion, rights-based programming, and multi-sectoral partnerships. Jane has held technical and leadership roles at the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC), NEPHAK, and KENWA. She is also a
member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Ms. Mutinta K. Mufalali – Zambia

Ms. Mutinta K. Mufalali is a seasoned pharmaceutical and healthcare management professional with over 20 years of experience in healthcare administration, pharmaceutical systems, and institutional health governance in Zambia. She currently serves as Deputy Director (Medical) at the National Assembly of Zambia, where she provides strategic leadership in healthcare service delivery, workplace wellness, and institutional health governance. She holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Zambia and is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences focused on climate variability and antimicrobial resistance using a One Health approach. Ms. Mufalali is passionate about strengthening healthcare systems, advancing equitable access to medicines, and promoting sustainable, community-centered health governance across Africa.
Evans Musonda Mupila – Zambia

Evans Musonda Mupila is a governance, policy, and development professional with over eight years of experience in strategic partnerships, programme management, proposal development, and resource mobilisation across Southern Africa. He has successfully contributed to the mobilisation of more than USD 10 million for programmes in governance, health, education, climate resilience, livelihoods, and humanitarian response. Evans has held senior roles with organizations including World Vision Zambia, ActionAid Zambia, and the National Legal Aid Clinic for Women. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of EMARS Consultancy and serves as a part-time lecturer in governance and public policy. He is passionate about strengthening governance systems and building strategic partnerships that advance sustainable development across Africa.
Martha Lungu – Zambia

Martha Lungu is a finance and governance professional with more than 20 years of experience in financial management, audit, leadership, and public health systems strengthening. She currently serves as Executive Director of Malaria Partners Zambia, where she works closely with government, civil society, and international partners to strengthen community health systems and promote equitable access to healthcare services. She is a Fellow of ACCA and ZICA and serves within the Rotary Foundation Cadre of Technical Advisors in Auditing. Martha is passionate about strengthening governance, accountability, and African-led solutions in public health and community development.
